But, like I mentioned, that is where the File Finder located them. I did not find the files there and then searched the System Library/Preferences and at that time did not find them there either. This takes you to the User Library/Preferences.
so now that I've located them, what should I do? Should I copy them over to the User Library/Preferences folder? According to the fix that Pancenter suggested which came straight from Apple, it says to locate the file using the "Go" menu on the desktop toolbar and clicking on Go To Folder, then typing in /Library/Preferences. I searched in the System LIbrary before and did not find them, but that's where the File Finder program located them. They were found in the System Library and not in the User Library. I used the free file finder and it found both files ( & .cs)
